Excellent food. Well worth the wait.

We have stopped a few times now and love it!!!Definately something different that doesn't leave you feeling like you just ate the deep frier.I love the flavours and the spice the food has and the staff are very helpful and friendly,willing to assist you when choosing menu items.I will most cerainly return...with friends and family as I am sure they to will love it!

The food is ok... The service stinks... Staff was rude at times.

The food is great and the price is very reasonable. The Vegetarian combo and 2 lentil sambosas come out to under $20 with tax (I usually order this for take-out). The food is as good or better than the Ethiopian restos in Montreal or Toronto, but the customer service could use a serious tune-up. Order for take-out, show up at least 10 minutes later than they tell you it will take over the phone, and enjoy!

The food was ok but the amount you payed for was very small campered to other ethipiom resturants. Also, I am Ethiopian but it seemed as if when they found out my husband was American, they didn't realy want to be around me anymore. Very ignorant. There customer service could improve in that department.i now i wii naver go selam ethiopian restaurant

Fantastic african dining experience, for a reasonable price, Selam's now offers lunchtime buffets during the week (Tues - Fri, closed Mon). Highly recommended!
