I think that the are the most overated restaurant in our city.
Great location and that's all.
Very old menu, vegetables comes hot from boiling water.
No imagination at all in the presentation.
Very pricy,the knowlodge of the staff especially when it comes to their poor wine list is absolutely terrible.
If you have a reservation and they are busy expect to wait a few hours or so

Great value for special occasions or a nice evening out. We have been there many times over the years and have always been satisfied with the great service, tender cuts of meat and cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for a complete meal for 20-25/person, this is a great place to spend some time.

For the price (they are outrageously expensive), this place should be a heck of a lot better. Service was substandard (as several people have already pointed out) and the food is average at best. I also found it rather annoying after receiving poor service and below average food that they automatically included a 15% gratuity on our bill. This practice is completely unacceptable. If the quality of the food and service had been up to par, perhaps but given it was poor, I had a hard time being told we had to tip.

I wont be back nor will anybody else who was in our party. The Keg,Moxie's and a host of other better run restaurants would be a better place to go.

I was not impressed at all with the service I received. The waiter took for ever to get our meals to us. The food wasn't the greatest quality of meat I have seen, it was very tough. The server didn't even ask us how everything was with our meal. I don't think I will ever go and eat at this restaurant again and at the end of the meal they automatically add a 15% tip on the bill even though the service was not worth 15%. Never, Never, Never Again!!!!!!

We tried Golf's a few times, thinking that we had just hit a 'bad night' each time. We finally gave up. The food was satisfactory, but nothing outstanding, and the service substandard. When one takes the time to make a reservation for a special night out, a table that is practically in the noisy kitchen is unacceptable. Nice washrooms though...
